Erewhon has long been a staple of California kitchens and For You pages all over the world. Now, the high-end supermarket known for its celebrity smoothie collaborations and health-conscious hot plates is dipping its toes into footwear with UGG. The new drop follows a run of recent fashion collaborations with Cactus Plant Flea Market, Casablanca, and, most famously, Balenciaga, who released a charcoal juice and a buzzy capsule athleisure collection last December to commemorate its fashion show in LA.

This week the Los Angeles grocer debuts a cold-pressed drink to celebrate the restock of UGG’s platform mule, Tazz, along with a new pale mustard-seed colorway. Erewhon’s accompanying tonic matches the sandy hue of the shoe and contains organic bananas, peanut butter, maple, tahini, lucuma, and collagen. In addition, Erewhon customers and UGG-lovers alike can enter to win a limited-edition pair embellished with palm trees by celebrity tattoo artist JonBoy, most known for his tiny tattoos. Celebrity, luxury, and comfort all in one: It doesn’t get more Erewhon than this.

The Erewhon x UGG tonic is available to order through Erewhon’s website and mobile app.

Walking Distance

Location is everything—especially for LA renaissance man Harley Wertheimer. Be it the new setting of his contemporary art gallery or his revitalized Hollywood café a stone’s throw away, he sees spaces not for what they are but for what they could be.

Finnish Sweet Buns

Traditionally served on Shrove Tuesday, this sweet, cardamom-flavored pastry never goes out of season for photographer Jukka Ovaskainen.
