Part performative, part confessional Annie Hamilton’s Internet presence reflects a persona she has spent years creating, channeled in humorous, diaristic prose, and wry, comedic characters. “People judge not being able to cook similarly to the way they judge not reading the news,” Hamilton tells Family Style before she shares her go-to recipe without missing a beat: hard-boiled eggs. “I like them firm and with a fully cooked yolk,” she explains. “They take away all of my headaches and make me feel like I'm gonna hit the ground running on my workload.”
