This week, Family Style and Sake ONO celebrated the magazine's newest edition—its design issue entitled Objects of Affection—with a summertime dînatoire at The Somerset House. Guests across the creative spectrum joined Family Style's Founder & Editor-in-Chief Joshua Glass, Food Editor Sophia Roe, Livings Editor Beverly Nguyen, Arts Editor K.O. Nnamdie, Impact Editor Sophia Li, Co-Design Directors Maria and Rafaela Echeverri, Culture Editor Rachel Summer Small, and Photo Director Sara Morosi to sip on bespoke sake cocktails in Sophie Lou Jacobsen glassware and tour the newly-expanded design gallery where vintage Italian and Danish Modern furniture and rare collectibles live in harmony. At the center of the design haven, which was outfitted for the evening with locally soured florals by Alex Crowder of Field Studies Flora, a lush grazing table by Family Style columnist Romilly Newman featured an array of hearty, Euro-American delicacies atop sparkling Christofle tableware. One unique white endive topped with pickled red onion and furikake in particular made for the perfect pairing with a simple pour of Sake ONO served chilled, in a chic stemmed Sophie Lou Jacobsen glass. Though the food was self-serve, each moment was enjoyed collectively as a family.
