The fashion writer opts for a simple and elegant rice dish. The twist? A splash of lemon.
Angelo Flaccavento’s love of fashion shines through from his writing to his personal style to the meals he makes: effortless and classic, poetically punk, with a splash of ingenuity. His favorite dish is minimal, elegant, and tried-and-true: white rice dressed with lemon juice and olive oil. Served on the side or enjoyed as a main course. “I am quite frugal,” Flaccavento explains of his simple choice. Born and based in Sicily, he naturally takes great inspiration from the locals and their refined ease of dress. A dish after his own heart, he describes the rice as “delicious, but not really fancy.”
