When it comes to the photographer’s favorite main dish, mackerel is the perfect add-on.
In-between traveling the world on photo assignments, David Abrahams knows he can rely on his trusty, savory pasta recipe. His go-to addition? Mackerel, but “you can easily trade out the fish for some meat, like pancetta and add a tin of tomatoes for another very quick and easy dish that tastes delicious,” the London-based photographer tells Family Style. And of course, like his photographs, it comes together on a compositional level, too: a beautiful plate for any table.
