Durga Chew-Bose shares her family’s unforgettable weekend breakfast tradition.

Every morning on the weekend, Durga Chew-Bose or her husband prepares challah french toast for their son. The small number of ingredients (four) and quick cooking and prep time leaves the family with more time to spend with one another. “[Fran] eats..while I read him books.” she tells Family Style.
