The challenge in modern-style minimalist design is to keep ideas fresh, and Poliform achieves this once again with its forthcoming 2025 collection. Just unveiled at Salone del Mobile in Milan, it features indoor and outdoor furniture designs from an international roster of collaborators, including French architect Jean-Marie Massaud, Milan- and Bordeaux-based designer Emmanuel Gallina, Singapore architect Soo Chan, and Milan design firm studioutte.
The culmination of these different perspectives is a diversified unity, all under the umbrella of Poliform, which was founded in 1970. “We felt the need to open the doors of Poliform to international designers who can embrace and celebrate our brand pillars, offering new perspectives through their individual artistic visions,” says U.S. CEO and president Laura Anzani. “This balance allows us to create products that complement each other beautifully when staged together while maintaining their own distinct design identities.”

At the fair, Poliform’s coolheaded elegance manifests in dozens of new pieces integrated into an immersive installation, awash in soft grey, white, and beige tones, that imagines minimal modern—almost futuristic—living rooms, lounge areas, bedrooms, walk-in closets, dining enclaves, patios, and more, all interconnected within the display. Clever design touches can be spotted throughout. Massaud’s Owen Sofa and Owen Armchair, for instance, feature backrests inspired by the Möbius strip. From Gallina, the outdoor-friendly Reef Coffee Table is cast in concrete with a gently curving silhouette meant to echo the forms of rocks eroded in the ocean. The Arthur Lamp and Helga Lamps by studioutte project a stoic utilitarianism as they take shape through right angles and stainless steel, complete with an anti-fingerprint finish.
“This year’s presentation embraces a more experimental approach that pushes the boundaries of contemporary living,” adds Anzani. “We have stepped outside our comfort zone…The 2025 collection speaks to a future where design transcends the mere creation of beautiful objects, becoming an integral part of modern living.”
Poliform's presentation is on view through April 13, 2025 at Salone del Mobile in Milan at Strada Statale Sempione, 28, 20017 Rho MI, Italy.
